Houston's Linell Bonner Tiptoes Sideline to Make Highlight Catch

Houston's Greg Ward Jr. and Linell Bonner turned a broken play into a key first down during Saturday's game against Oklahoma.

Late in the second quarter, Ward looked dead in the water. It appeared the Cougars quarterback would throw the ball away under heavy pressure, but he somehow hooked up with Bonner.

The wide receiver tiptoed the sideline to narrowly keep one foot in bounds. The 16-yard grab with 20 seconds remaining set up a 47-yard field goal for Ty Cummings, which gave Houston a 19-17 lead at halftime.

Ward and Bonner both deserve credit for pulling off the best play of the day so far.
