Michael Jordan, Derek Jeter and Star Michigan Alumni Attend Season Opener

Two sports icons graced Ann Arbor with their presence for the Michigan Wolverines' season debut Saturday.

Michael Jordan and Derek Jeter, legends who respectively dominated the NBA and MLB, showed up at Michigan Stadium to watch the Wolverines face the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors.

Also in attendance were Michigan alumni and recently retired NFL stars Charles Woodson and LaMarr Woodley.

The quadrant has accumulated 14 combined championships, including Michigan's 1997 national title during Woodson's Heisman Trophy-winning season. That's certainly setting the bar high for the current players.
