Les Miles Warns LSU Players Not to Celebrate with Lambeau Leap
Tigers head coach Les Miles cautioned his players against doing the Leap on Saturday.
Most coaches are worried about reaching the end zone, but Miles sent out a stern message to his team against borrowing the Green Bay Packers' tradition when it faces the Wisconsin Badgers at Field.
During Wednesday's SEC coaches teleconference, per College Football Talk's John Taylor, Miles said anyone who launches into the crowd will have to find his own way back to Baton Rouge.
"I promise you that if anybody jumps [for] the Leap, they'll end up with their thumb out to see if they can get a ride home," Miles said. "It's college football, and we'll play it that way, and I think our guys understand. We'll do it right."
As Taylor noted, the act would violate NCAA rules and draw a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct.
