Liverpool Transfer News: Christian Pulisic Move Ruled Out, Deadline-Day Rumours
Christian Pulisic won't be completing a deadline-day move to Liverpool after the Borussia Dortmund starlet's father confirmed his son "has no interest" in leaving Signal Iduna Park just yet.
Speaking to German newspaper Bild (h/t Liverpool Echo's Joe Rimmer), Mark Pulisic said: “Christian has no interest in leaving the club. He had a good half year last season, and wants to continue to break through.”

Pulisic, 17, had been linked to a reunion with Reds manager Jurgen Klopp, the man who brought him to Dortmund in the first place, but that transfer now appears to be out of reach.
Not only does Pulisic wish to remain with the Black and Yellows beyond this summer, but Mike Keegan of the Daily Mail reported the Reds' offer was some distance off Dortmund's valuation:
The teenager has quickly become one of the highest-rated prospects in the Bundesliga, earning six caps for the United States men's national team since moving to the German top flight in January 2015.
Bundesliga expert Raphael Honigstein also highlighted just how uncertain it was the player would leave Signal Iduna Park, as well as the factor of European competition:
Liverpool would be getting their hands on an emerging star if they were to land Pulisic, who has made massive strides since moving to Europe from his native America.
Goal's Melissa Reddy also pointed out how big a talent Liverpool are set to miss out on following a sticky start to their 2016-17 campaign:
Pulisic may have struggled to announce himself at Anfield in any case, especially given Klopp already has a wealth of attacking-midfield talent, including the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
For now, the prodigious playmaker will continue his development under Dortmund head coach Thomas Tuchel, but Klopp may well revive the links in his attempt to sanction a reunion at a later date.
Elsewhere, Liverpool-linked Bruno Martins Indi is reportedly poised to join Stoke City on loan after arriving in England for his medical, according to the Liverpool Echo's Rimmer.
The Reds have been linked with the FC Porto centre-back alongside rivals Everton, but it's the Potters who are on the verge of winning the race to sign the Netherlands international on temporary terms.
