WWE SmackDown: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for August 30

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of the August 30 episode of SmackDown.

Last week's show saw the introduction of the SmackDown women's and tag team titles, and WWE wasted no time setting up bouts to decide who would be the first people to hold the new belts.

Carmella, Natalya, Becky Lynch, Alexa Bliss, Naomi and Nikki Bella will compete in a Six-Pack Challenge for the blue brand's Women's Championship, while eight tag teams will compete in preliminary matches to determine who will fight for the tag titles at Backlash.

According to WWE.com, The Headbangers will return to WWE to take part in the tag team tournament this week, so expect some Attitude Era nostalgia during the show.

We also know AJ Styles will face Dean Ambrose for the WWE Championship in what should be a stellar main event. However, the biggest story this week has to do with The Miz's rant from last week's episode of Talking Smack.

Will general manager Daniel Bryan punish The Miz for what he said last week?

Which tag teams will move on in the tournament to crown new champions?

Has The Lunatic Fringe met his match in The Phenomenal One?

How will Bella respond to Carmella's vicious attack from last week?

And lastly, can Randy Orton rebound after losing to Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam by feuding with Bray Wyatt?
