Alshon Jeffery, WR, Chicago Bears

The first tier of wide receivers in fantasy drafts this year is clear-cut. You have Antonio Brown, Odell Beckham Jr., Julio Jones, Dez Bryant, DeAndre Hopkins and A.J. Green.

Beyond that, things get murky.

While Brandon Marshall and Allen Robinson are rightly generating lots of hype following superlative 2015 seasons, Chicago Bears wideout Alshon Jeffery seems to be the one big name at receiver who many are overlooking.

Although he's been susceptible to soft-tissue injuries over the years—as was the case when he missed seven games last season—Jeffery is a game-changer who could pile up outrageous numbers in a Bears offense that doesn't boast reliable playmakers across the board.

Jeremy Langford is a candidate to break out at running back, but beyond Jeffery, the Bears have few dynamic weapons out wide following Martellus Bennett's offseason trade to the New England Patriots.

Kevin White has the potential to become that player in time, but it's safe to assume it will take him most of the 2016 season to get accustomed to life opposite Jeffery after White missed his entire rookie season with a leg injury.

Not only that, but the Bears defense ranked 20th in opponents' scoring (24.8 points per game) last season. If we assume the Bears will be playing from behind quite a bit once again, Jeffery should be in line to eclipse 140 targets for the third time in his career thanks to a bevy of garbage-time targets.

Don't hesitate to spend an early second-round pick on Jay Cutler's go-to weapon.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Detroit Lions

If you're like most fantasy owners out there, you're probably waiting until the second half of your draft to select a quarterback.

And if that strategy tickles your fancy, targeting Matthew Stafford should be a no-brainer.

The Detroit Lions gunslinger has an average draft position of 117, according to ESPN.com. He's also a sleeper to post monster numbers this season even though star wideout Calvin Johnson won't be by his side.

"Looking comfy in Jim Bob Cooter’s offense, the Lions signal-caller completed nearly 71 percent of his passes after Detroit’s bye week in 2015," Yahoo Sports' Liz Loza wrote. "With news that the Lions are planning to push the pace in 2016, Staff could throw the ball upwards of 640 times in 2016."

Those numbers are delectable and could easily produce a top-10 finish for Stafford—who threw for 19 touchdowns and two interceptions over his final eight games last season.

Latavius Murray, RB, Oakland Raiders

Latavius Murray appeared in line for a monster 2015 season, but he fell short of expectations to the tune of 1,066 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.

As it turns out, the hype train may have left the station one year early.

Head coach Jack Del Rio told reporters in August that he wants Murray to have more carries than last year, per the San Francisco Chronicle's Vic Tafur. The Raiders also made a concerted effort to upgrade their offensive line over the offseason.

"Bringing back [Donald] Penn allows the Raiders to move one of the biggest free-agent signings of the offseason, Kelechi Osemele (79.6), back to guard—a position he is more experienced with," Pro Football Focus' Nathan Jahnke wrote. "In 2015, his eight highest-graded performances of the season all came at left guard, while four of his worst six came in the four weeks he played left tackle."

Jahnke also noted that Oakland now has "the best offensive line on paper heading into the 2016 season" after retaining Penn and signing Osemele.

Rookie DeAndre Washington could threaten to cap Murray's ceiling, but the third-year rusher appears primed for a career year with the Raiders on the rise.
