Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The 30-year-old Kruger recorded just 27 tackles and 2.5 sacks last season, but he had a career year in 2014 with 53 tackles, 11 sacks and four forced fumbles.
Kruger was originally a second-round draft pick of the Baltimore Ravens in 2009. He won a Super Bowl during his time with the Ravens and cashed in big with the Browns in free agency after registering nine sacks in 2012.
The former Utah standout is among the most durable pass-rushers in the NFL, having missed just one game since the start of the 2011 campaign.
New Orleans was short on outside pass-rushers prior to the agreement with Kruger, as Hau'oli Kikaha is on injured reserve with a torn ACL after racking up four sacks last season.
Two-time Pro Bowler Cameron Jordan has little support in terms of pressuring opposing quarterbacks, so bringing in an established veteran like Kruger is a logical move for the Saints as they look to be contenders in the NFC South this season.
