Manchester United Transfer News: Diego Rolan Scouted, Matteo Darmian Rumours
Manchester United reportedly had scouts on hand to watch Bordeaux striker Diego Rolan score the winner against Nantes on Sunday, although an offer is yet to be made. Meanwhile Matteo Darmian is being watched by three clubs.
According to French radio station RMC (h/t Samuel Luckhurst of the Manchester Evening News), United were joined by Bayern Munich, Norwich City and Brighton & Hove Albion in checking out the talents of Rolan, who netted the sole goal in a 1-0 victory.
The Uruguay international has two goals in three Ligue 1 appearances for Bordeaux so far this season and has netted a total of 30 times in 119 outings since joining the French outfit three-and-a-half years ago.

Goal's Robin Bairner reported earlier this summer that Bundesliga outfit Schalke 04 were interested before touching on the notion he was worthy of more:
Following on from the high-profile capture of players such as Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba, the reported interest in Rolan represents a more modest target for the Red Devils this summer.
The 23-year-old has been capped 21 times by his country, according to Transfermarkt, but the Ligue 1 hotshot nonetheless carries a more humble reputation when compared to the likes of Ibrahimovic.

If he completed a move to Old Trafford, Rolan would also face the daunting task of competing with United academy product Marcus Rashford, who scored a last-gasp winner in Saturday's 1-0 victory over Hull City.
He would also be joining a forward line that's been transformed under new manager Jose Mourinho compared to the staler style of predecessor Louis van Gaal, as evidenced by the Manchester Evening News:
Luckhurst also reported three clubs are "apparently keen" on signing right-back Darmian after fit-again Antonio Valencia reclaimed his spot in defence following Mourinho's takeover at the helm.
The Italy international was an unused substitute in Saturday's 1-0 win over Hull, but his commitment to the cause seemingly hasn't been dented after he was only too quick to join the celebrations:
Darmian made a bright start to his United career following a move from Serie A outfit Torino last summer, but Valencia has enjoyed a good spell of form since returning to fitness in the full-back role.
The 26-year-old has made a total of 39 appearances for United to date, but with Timothy Fosu-Mensah also waiting in the wings, Darmian may be moved on just a year after arriving at Old Trafford.
