WWE SmackDown: Live Results, Reaction and Analysis for August 23

Welcome to Bleacher Report's live coverage of the August 23 episode of SmackDown.

SummerSlam may be over, but SmackDown has to move quickly to get the Backlash card in order before the pay-per-view airs on September 11.

According to WWE.com, Daniel Bryan will reveal two new championships for the SmackDown roster on Tuesday's show. After the horrible reaction the universal title received at SummerSlam, fans will be hoping for some more creativity in the designs of the new belts.

We can also expect to see AJ Styles brag about his win over John Cena, Nikki Bella address her return and a new challenger to emerge for Dean Ambrose's WWE Championship.

How will champions for the new titles be decided?

What is Cena's status after symbolically leaving his armband in the ring at SummerSlam?

What will Randy Orton have to say about being busted open by Brock Lesnar?

Will Dolph Ziggler continue pursuing the WWE title?
