Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Rumours, Major Signings Linked to Jurgen Klopp
Liverpool will reportedly have to rival Italian giants Inter Milan if they expect to complete a move for Newcastle United midfielder Moussa Sissoko. Meanwhile, Mamadou Sakho is said to be leaving the club on loan.
According to French magazine France Football, Inter are interested in making their move to bail Sissoko out of his Magpies nightmare following last season's relegation to the Championship (h/t the Daily Star's James Benson).

Arsenal and Liverpool are mentioned as two of the Premier League clubs understood to be chasing the France international, but Inter are said to have a £34.4 million offer ready that could pique Newcastle's interest.
The Chronicle's Lee Ryder previously reported Sissoko's agents have already discussed at least part of the move with the Nerazzurri, although there's still a way to go in negotiations:
Liverpool have already sold Joe Allen to Stoke City this summer, while Lucas Leiva's place under manager Jurgen Klopp may be in some doubt, but a move for Sissoko could still prove too pricey.
Bleacher Report's Dean Jones previously reported on the matter after Liverpool's Merseyside rivals, Everton, threw their hat into the ring to recruit the Newcastle man:
Elsewhere, centre-back Sakho could complete a temporary move away from Anfield after it emerged Klopp wants to send the defender out on loan in a bid to jump-start his career.
That's according to Paul Joyce of the Daily Express, who reported the club's power players want Sakho to "find himself" before resuming his career with the Reds.

Sakho is seen by many Liverpool supporters as one of the club's best centre-back options when fully fit, but after a rocky summer under Klopp, it's said that temporary departure solutions are being considered.
Analyst Dan Kennett noted how swiftly the France international—capped 28 times by his country—has fallen from one of Anfield's key stars to potentially being sent away in a bid to prove his fitness:
As noted by Joyce, Sakho missed the end of Liverpool's 2015-16 season and UEFA Euro 2016 following accusations of a failed drug test, but he was then cleared of any offence by European football's governing body.
Defenders Joel Matip and Ragnar Klavan have been brought in from Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg, respectively, this summer, but Liverpool risk being short on numbers at the back should Sakho leave for pastures new this late in the transfer window.
