Nike Air Jordan 11 Low 'Closing Ceremony' Release Date, Pics, Price for Aug. 23

On Tuesday, the latest version of the Nike Air Jordan 11 low top will hit stores. This one has a bit of a golden touch.

This model appears to have two names. Some refer to it as the "Closing Ceremony," while others refer to the sneakers as the "Gold Medal."

In either case, the gold-accented Jordans are designed to commemorate the 2016 gold-medal winning Team USA men's basketball team.

Release Date: Tuesday, Aug. 23 

Price: $170, per Sole Collector

The 11's classic design is kept intact here, but the metallic gold-trimmed leather lays nicely on the white textured leather.

There's been a ton of color schemes for this model of Jordans, but when you add in the connection to the Rio Olympics, these sneakers could become a must-have for Jordan fans and shoe collectors overall.
