The 2020 Tokyo Olympics are just a warp pipe away.
That much was made clear by Prime Minister Shinzo Abe of Japan, who arrived in Rio de Janeiro for the 2016 Olympics' closing ceremony using the famous green transportation tunnel from Super Mario Bros.—in the guise of the video game's beloved plumber, no less.
Perhaps athletes should prepare for the next Summer Games to be a bit more eight-bit.
