Let's take a look at everything we know about WWE SummerSlam 2016.

Bleacher Report Writers' Thoughts and Predictions

As with every PPV, the writing team at Bleacher Report has been posting previews and predictions in the week leading up to the event:

Other SummerSlam Thoughts

WWE has built up SummerSlam into a second WrestleMania, so we should expect some big surprises and shocking outcomes during the show.

The introduction of the Universal Championship is a chance for Finn Balor or Seth Rollins to take his spot at the top of the Raw roster, and there is little doubt they will deliver a match worthy of any PPV.

The WWE Championship match is also likely to turn some heads. Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler have been especially good over the past few weeks during the buildup to this showdown, which makes this one of the harder outcomes to predict.

Even without a title on the line, Lesnar vs. Orton is considered one of the main events. Orton is one of the only established veterans Lesnar hasn't faced since returning to the company a few years ago, so it's going to be interesting to see who walks away with the win.

It's going to be hard to keep people's attention for six hours, so hopefully WWE has a plan in place to make sure the crowd doesn't grow tired during the show.
