After beating Spain 82-76, Team USA is heading to the gold-medal game to face the winner of the second semifinal between Australia and Serbia.

USA was led by Klay Thompson, who had 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting. He was joined in double-figures by Kevin Durant (14) and Kyrie Irving (13).

Spain, meanwhile, was led by Pau Gasol, who had 23 points and eight rebounds. Sergio Rodriguez added 11 off the bench.

Spain will play the loser of the matchup between the second semifinal for the bronze medal on Sunday. USA will play the winner for gold.
