USA Basketball vs. Argentina: Live Score, Highlights for Summer Olympics 2016

Team USA is headed to the semifinals of the basketball tournament at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro after beating Argentina on Wednesday, 105-78.

Kevin Durant led the Americans, scoring 27 points on 13 shots. Paul George added 17 and DeMarcus Cousins had 15.

Luis Scola, meanwhile, led Argentina with 15 points on 6-of-16 shooting. Manu Ginobili added 14 points and seven assists.

For the Argentines, it's likely the last run for the "Golden Generation," a core of players who won the gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens.

For Team USA, it's on to Friday's matchup against a Spanish team that appears to have found its groove. After losing its first two games, Spain is now on a four-game win streak and thumped France 92-67 in the quarterfinals.
