Simone Biles capped her historic performance at the 2016 Rio Olympics with a gold medal in the women's floor exercise final on Tuesday afternoon.

USA teammate Aly Raisman also reached the podium, adding a silver to her collection. Amy Tinkler (Great Britain) earned the bronze.

Oleg Verniaiev (Ukraine) took home a gold medal in the men's parallel bars, and Germany's Fabian Hambuchen stood atop the horizontal bar final. Danell Leyva (United States) claimed a silver in both events.

David Belyavskiy (Russia, parallel bars) and Nile Wilson (Great Britain, horizontal bar) secured bronze medals.
