Australian golfer Robert Allenby was arrested outside a casino in Rock Island, Illinois, just hours after he failed to make the cut for the 2016 John Deere Classic.ย 

As reported by Katrina Lamanskyย of WQAD, the local police department confirmed the 45-year-old was charged withย disorderly conduct and criminal trespassing, with his bond set atย $1,500.

Allenby missed the cut of the John Deere Classic by three strokes after shootingย even-par 142.

The two-time PGA Tour of Australia Order of Merit winner has mostly made headlines for a series of incidents off the golf course in recent years, having failed to make the cut in 20 of the 22 events he has competed in this season.
