Manchester United Transfer News: Latest Youri Tielemans, Ander Herrera Rumours
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has reportedly made contact with highly rated Anderlecht youngster Youri Tielemans regarding a potential transfer.
Tielemansโ former team-mate Lukasz Plonowski revealed the news to Polish outlet Weszlo, saying that the Anderlecht starlet called him to discuss Mourinhoโs contact, perย Richard Amofa of the Daily Telegraph:ย "Youri called me up recently and said: Lukasz, do you know who called me? Mourinho. He asked how Iโd take the possibility to move to Manchester United."

Tielemans is one of the most highly rated young talents in European football. The midfielder broke into Anderlechtโs first team at just 16 years of age and has risen from strength to strength ever since.
Now 19, Tielemans is one of the first names on Anderlecht manager Rene Weilerโs teamsheet.
He has excellent ability on the ball and rarely loses possession, plus his expert vision means strikers are rewarded for intelligent runs. Being a sprightly teenager, he has no trouble travelling from box to box, either.
Hereโs a look at what the powerful Belgian can bring to the table:
Amofa said several big clubs across Europe are interested in landing Tielemans, so it appears Mourinho is looking to win the playerโs favour early on.
However, the 19-year-oldโs contract at Anderlecht doesnโt expire until the summer of 2020, which means United will likely have to part with plenty of cash to bring him to Old Trafford. Still, as the Paul Pogba saga proved, the Red Devils arenโt afraid to do that.
Elsewhere, United midfielder Ander Herrera is said to be back on the radar of Serie A champions Juventus after being linked with the Italian side in the January transfer window, per the Daily Star's Jeremy Cross.

Italian outlet Tuttosport reported that the Spaniard is part of Juveโs four-man shortlist to bolster their midfield, alongside Nemanja Matic, Isco and Mateo Kovacic (h/tย Amofa).
Herrera is an intelligent and talented midfielder, yet former United boss Louis van Gaal didnโt give him as many chances as fans would have liked.
However, it looks like Herrera is part of Mourinhoโs plans, having featured heavily in pre-season and in the Community Shield, so the Portuguese manager could be reluctant to sell.
Even so, regular first-team chances may be few and far between for the midfielder, and if he wants to play 90 minutes week in, week out, heading to Serie A would be a smart move.
Thereโs an air of excitement over Old Trafford ahead of the 2016/17 season that hasnโt been seen for many a campaign.
The powers that be have splashed the cash to bring in some of the best players in the world and finally give United the look of champions again.
The Red Devils kick off their Premier League campaign away to AFC Bournemouth on Sunday.
