Liverpool Transfer News: Latest Marcelo Brozovic and Anwar El Ghazi Rumours
Inter Milan are reportedly prepared to listen to offers for midfielder Marcelo Brozovic, with the Croatian seemingly set to be moved on if Joao Mario joins the Serie A outfit.
That's according to Sky Italia (Aaron Flanagan of the Mirror), with Liverpool thought to be among his potential suitors, and the Reds could now put in a bid with Inter open to selling him.
The 23-year-old was one of the few standout players in an otherwise fairly mediocre season for Inter, who finished fourth in Serie A, 13 points behind third-placed Roma.

Here are some of his highlights:
Brozovic is a central midfielder who looks to link the midfield and attack and makes use of his good passing range to bring others into play.
The Croatia international isn't afraid to put a shift in but works best alongside a ball-winner who can protect the defence and afford him space to push forward.

Earlier in the summer, Brozovic spoke of his desire to stay at the San Siro, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport's Matteo Dalla Vite (h/t Gazzetta World), but he earns just £18,000 per week there, per Joe Short of the Express.
Sky Italia (h/t Flanagan) added that the midfielder will not be offered a new deal. While his current contract does not run out for three more years, he could earn far more at a club such as Liverpool—it would seem unlikely he'd be willing remain on the same wage packet for the remainder of that time.

Meanwhile, Italian outlet Il Tempo (h/t Flanagan) reported the Reds, along with Lazio and Wolfsburg, are interested in Ajax winger Anwar El Ghazi, who could cost around £15 million.
The 21-year-old scored 11 goals and added three assists in 27 Eredivisie appearances last season and has emerged as one of the most exciting prospects in the Dutch top flight.
However, for Liverpool to target him this summer—after already recruiting fellow winger Sadio Mane and attacking midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum—would seem strange.
Manager Jurgen Klopp will already have to fit his two new signings in alongside Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino, so adding another player into the mix—even a talented one such as the Dutchman—would be an unnecessary selection headache.
