Bournemouth vs. Manchester United: Jose Mourinho's Key Pre-Match Presser Quotes
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has confirmed new signing Paul Pogba will not feature in Sunday's trip to Bournemouth but will be ready for Friday's home match with Southampton. He also made it clear the Red Devils are targeting the Premier League title this year.
The Special One was speaking in his first press conference at Old Trafford ahead of the new league season and was questioned on Pogba's involvement, per United:

The Frenchman will miss the game through suspension and, according to the Mirror's Jacob Murtagh, Mourinho explained: "I found out two days ago. I knew the situation with the yellow cards, but I didn’t know if an accumulation would bring a suspension."
Because of his exploits with France this summer, Pogba does not have a full pre-season under his belt and so may well have not played anyway, but the suspension grants him another week of training with his new team-mates.

Mourinho also discussed the Red Devils' ambitions for the season: "Many teams think they can win it [the Premier League], but they are afraid to say it, they prefer to play a defensive game in the press. Man United has to say on day one that we want to win the title."
Mourinho also revealed that Adnan Januzaj still has a future at Old Trafford despite being sent out on loan to Sunderland, per Paul Hirst of the Times:
According to Metro's Chris Winterburn, he explained United will "want him back" from the Black Cats at the end of the season and gave further insight into the decision to send him there this year:
Sunderland had announced the deal earlier on Friday via their official Twitter feed. The 21-year-old had struggled for game time in the last two seasons, and the signing of Henrikh Mkhitaryan would have only bumped him further down the pecking order.
Lastly, the Portuguese looked forward to the match at the Vitality Stadium and praised the Cherries' setup, per Murtagh: "It is a good stable team, for sure it will be a difficult match for us [on Sunday]. Stability, same players, same manager year after year, they didn’t change their style."
With United facing bitter rivals Manchester City and champions Leicester City in September, a good start will be very useful before the really tricky games come around.
As with their Community Shield match with the Foxes on Sunday, the game will also give an indication of where the Red Devils are at under Mourinho, though of course it's still early days and there will be no Pogba.
