Tonga's Flag Bearer Is Shirtless, Very Oily During Olympic Parade of Nations
The best outfit during the 2016 Rio Olympics Parade of Nations may have been no outfit at all.
Just ask Tonga's Pita Nikolas Taufatofua, who, after representing his country in the march with no shirt but plenty of oil, became an instant internet sensation—The Tongan Flag Bearer.
No two reactions to the taekwondo fighter were alike, but many noticed his glistening sheen:
Not to mention his aesthetically appealing appearance:
"Just try catching that Tongan flag bearer. Seriously. That man is buttered within an inch of my gran's mashed potatoes. #OpeningCeremony

And for any of those interested, cyberstalkers have already unearthed the athlete's social media accounts:
"If I keep getting 10,000 steps a day I'll look like that Tongan flag bearer, right? Like eventually? #Rio2016

The first gold medal of the Games? It seems it's already been won.
