Nkemdiche Among League's Most Promising Talents
Regarded as one of the best pure talents in the 2016 NFL draft, Nkemdiche fell to the 29th pick because of questions about his work ethic and makeup coming out of Mississippi.
The Cardinals were happy to pounce on Nkemdiche because one of the few missing pieces on a team that went 13-3 last season was a young, disruptive pass-rusher. He set a career high with seven sacks in his final season at Ole Miss despite playing just 10 of the team's 13 games.
Fortunately for the Cardinals, they were able to add more impact pass-rushing talent by acquiring Chandler Jones in a trade with the New England Patriots.
Nkemdiche can become an impact player if he gets the proper development. That requires more reps in games and during practice. The Cardinals have a strong track record of developing talent from Tyrann Mathieu and Patrick Peterson to Deone Bucannon.
