Manchester City Transfer News: Latest on Marlos Moreno and Ante Coric Rumours
Manchester City are reportedly "close to signing" Colombian wonderkid Marlos Moreno for a modest fee following a busy week of transfer activity, and Croatian starlet Ante Coric may not be far behind.
The Press Association (h/t the Guardian) reported City are on the verge of completing a £4.75 million move for Atletico Nacional youngster Moreno, who has been associated with the Premier League club for several months now.

The 19-year-old is a versatile forward who can play on either wing or in a centre-forward role, and City boss Pep Guardiola appears to have a real interest in his qualities.
Moreno earned his senior debut for Colombia earlier this year and has already received seven caps for the national team, with Sky Sports News HQ providing further insights into his budding career:
Manchester City have already reduced the average age of their stars by recruiting Schalke 04 starlet Leroy Sane and Palmeiras forward Gabriel Jesus, per Chris Wheeler of MailOnline.
It seems clear Guardiola is banking on a long stay at the Etihad Stadium following his arrival, choosing to invest first and foremost in some of world football's most promising up-and-comers:
Moreno isn't expected to remain at the Etihad this season if he does indeed make the move from Atletico Nacional, however, with La Liga outfit Deportivo La Coruna mentioned as a possible loan destination.
Arsenal blogger Tim Stillman also noted that while it's positive the Citizens are adding so much youth in one swoop, it seems unlikely all of City's budding stars will see their first-team dreams realised in Manchester:
Elsewhere, a move to sign Dinamo Zagreb prodigy Coric is thought to be advancing, and Simon Jones of the Daily Mail reported City are "conscious of reducing the age profile" at the club.
The arrival of Coric would certainly help in facilitating that goal, and Croatian fan account CroSports provided highlights from the playmaker in recent action against Dinamo Tbilisi during the UEFA Champions League qualifiers:
Coric, 19, is an attacking midfielder who operates most effectively working behind the lines of attack, pulling the strings for those ahead of him, albeit not the most defensively shrewd of assets just yet.
Guardiola already has an embarrassment of creative riches at City as things stand, but Coric stands out as part of the new breed of Croatian talent impressing in his native land.
