Real Madrid Transfer News: Latest on Marco Verratti and Enzo Zidane Rumours

Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Marco Verratti has pledged his future to the Ligue 1 champions in the wake of interest from Real Madrid, per Le Parisien (h/t Will Griffee of MailOnline).

The dynamic midfielder has become a vital member of PSG's squad following his arrival from Pescara in 2012, cementing himself in the heart of the French side due to his combative approach, passing consistency and intelligence on the ball.

Per Le Parisien, Verratti was eager to denounce any rumours of a possible upcoming move away from the Parc des Princes, saying: "I'm flattered that a great team like Real Madrid are interested in me, but I've made ​​the decision of winning with Paris. I want to win something important here before I get tired or that the club no longer want me."

After missing out on signing Juventus' Paul Pogba, who many, including AS (h/t Lyall Thomas of Sky Sports), report is on his way to Manchester United, Real had been linked with the Italy international, per Andrew Richardson of the Sun.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka—a former Real defender—continues to have close ties with the club. He also enjoyed a coaching spell as assistant manager between 2010 and 2013. Per Hopkinson, Zidane Jr. made his first team debut in the 2016 ICC against PSG in Columbus, Ohio, and he featured regularly for Real Madrid Castilla last season.
