Cowboys LB Damien Wilson out Up to 2 Weeks Due to Paintball-Related Eye Injury
Vanessa de Beaumont
Injuries are a part of sports—particularly for those as physical as football.
Professional athletes such as the Dallas Cowboys' Damien Wilson accept the possibility of ailment every time they step onto the field.
While playing paintball? Not so much.
Unlikely as it seems, the second-year linebacker will be missing some time on the gridiron after taking a colorful shot to the eye.
In fact, according to ESPN.com's Todd Archer, Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones reported Wilson, who will begin training camp on the non-football injury list, could be sitting out for as long as two weeks.
Perhaps next time the 23-year-old should opt for laser tag instead.
