The third round of the PGA Championship was not completed on Saturday afternoon due to inclement weather around Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield, New Jersey.
The weather delay started just after 2 p.m. ET as severe weather approached the area. The thunderstorms did not stop in enough time for a sufficient amount of golf to be played by the leaders.
Before the round was called, a few golfers went out early in the morning session and carded impressive scores.
American Kevin Kisner recorded a five-under 65 to move up to five under for the tournament. Padraig Harrington also shot a 65 on Saturday to climb up to four under overall.
Play is set to resume on Sunday with the leaders playing the third round. However, the forecast for Sunday is not promising.
Current Leaders: Jimmy Walker and Robert Streb (-9)
