Michael Vick was once the most electrifying player in the NFL, but now, at 36 years old, the free-agent quarterback is looking for work.

If you ask him, though, he's still got plenty left in the tank, especially when it comes to his legs.

At the annual HoopTee Celebrity Golf Classic in Charlotte, North Carolina, last week, Vick talked a little bit about his football career and skill set, including where he ranks among the fastest quarterbacks in the league.

Not in his prime—today.

Vick didn't go as far as to say he would beat every one of his fellow quarterbacks in a race. He did, however, say he believes he could finish in the top three. Who does he think would be his toughest competition? Russell Wilson. Colin Kaepernick. Robert Griffin III. Cam Ne—

"No, Cam can't beat me in the 40," Vick said, via Jonathan Jones of the Charlotte Observer. "But his speed is decent. Decent speed. Good enough. Fast enough, I will say that."

Although he doesn't think Newton can beat him head-to-head, Vick is a fan of the Carolina Panthers star.

“I like Cam’s style," Vick said, per Jones. "I think you’ll have more kids that will want to play with this kind of style. But everybody’s not going to be blessed to grow to 6'6" and 250 pounds. And it’s all muscle. He’s special.”

Unfortunately, a Vick-Newton showdown probably will never happen. The former Atlanta Falcons star made an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show this past Monday and said that although he believes he could perform well in a pro day, he does not want to run anymore 40-yard dashes because there is a risk of injury.

If the race did take place, who would win?
