High School Baseball Player Steals Home by Sliding Between Batter's Legs

It happened just as the poem predicted. 

Around the diamond and through his teammate's legs to steal home.

Or at least that was the Ogden Bulldogs' version of the tale. 

Thanks to the squad's tricky Graham Tews, the team's only run in a 6-1 loss to the Collins-Maxwell-Baxter Raiders in Iowa's Class 2A substate finals was plenty to cheer about. 

In a display of circus-like skill, the high school player bolted from second and rounded third before diving for home plate directly between the batter's legs. 

Now that's making baseball fun again.
