Astros' and Rangers' Double-A Affiliates Brawl After Hit Batter
The Corpus Christi Hooks (Double-A affiliate of the Houston ) and Frisco (Texas Rangers affiliate) faced off in an in-state rivalry Sunday.
When Hooks designated hitter Vasquez got drilled in the leg by pitcher Mendez on the first pitch of the second inning, there was zero hesitation by the batter as to what to do next.

Vasquez dropped his bat and sprinted toward the mound. Although Mendez did not appear eager to fight, the southpaw greeted the charging hitter with a flying glove.
