Joel Embiid Pays Tribute to Sam Hinkie on Instagram, Calls Him the 'GOAT'

Joel Embiid won't forget you, Sam Hinkie. Who could?

The Philadelphia 76ers big man saluted the franchise's former general manager Saturday, sharing a photo of him laughing with Hinkie in a heartfelt Instagram post captioned "THE GOAT."

Embiid hashtagged "trust the process," a phrase Hinkie essentially trademarked. Oh and "He died for our sins."

Hinkie resigned as GM with a 7,000-word letter in April.
