With the 2016 Rio Olympics just weeks away, Sports Illustrated put seven Team USA athletes on the cover of this week’s issue.
The seven are as follows: Kevin Durant (basketball), Alex Morgan (soccer), Michael Phelps (swimming), Allyson Felix (track), Katie Ledecky (swimming), Simone Biles (gymnastics) and Ashton Eaton (decathlon).
Four years ago, the USA racked up the most gold, silver and total medals at the 2012 London Olympics. Given the stars it has across all sports this time around, it wouldn’t be shocking to see similar success.
