Minor League SS Stephen Alemais Turns Wild Double Play While Falling Down

Pittsburgh Pirates third-round draft pick Stephen Alemais made an outstanding play for the Single-A West Virginia Black Bears against the Auburn Doubledays on Saturday.

With the score tied at 5-5 and a man on first in the top of the eighth inning, catcher Chris Harvey fired to second on a bunt attempt.

Alemais picked Harvey's throw out of the dirt and whipped it to first while falling to the ground. His throw was money, and the 2-6-3 double play was successful.

West Virginia went on to win 6-5.
