Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Rich Hill had to leave his start as a member of the Oakland Athletics on July 17 against the Toronto Blue Jays because of a popped blister. While Hill was able to make a start for the Dodgers on Aug. 24, the blister acted up again.

Now he's ready to return to the mound.

Continue for updates.

Hill Starting vs. Padres

Saturday, Sept. 3

The Dodgers announced Hill will start Saturday against San Diego.

Hill Traded Despite Lingering Injury

Despite his blister, Hill was traded along with outfielder Josh Reddick to the Dodgers on Aug. 1.

Hill has gone 10-3 with a 2.09 ERA, 1.07 WHIP and 93 strikeouts in 82 innings pitched over 15 starts. While only one of those starts was as a member of the Dodgers, it's clear Hill will be a valuable member of the team's rotation.
