Leonard Fournette Congratulates Horse Named After Him on Win in Debut Race

Leonard Fournette can run fast, so it isn't difficult to understand why an LSU Tigers fan would name their horse after him.

Staton Flurry did, and it seems to have paid off.

Flurry's three-year-old thoroughbred, Leonard Fournette, won his debut race at Belmont Park on Friday, which earned him a congratulatory tweet from the star he was named after:

The running back shared a similar sentiment earlier this week at SEC media days.

"The horse is really in my family now,” he told reporters. “I’ve got to go see him."
