LeBron James Posts Shoutout to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, Dejan Lovren Replies

NBA superstar LeBron James reminded us where his Premier League allegiance lies on Wednesday, when he dedicated a shoutout to Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool.

The Cleveland Cavaliers star is a well-known fan of the Reds and even owns a minority stake in the Anfield club.

Now, with Liverpool due in the United States for their pre-season tour, James has taken the opportunity to offer his famous services.

"Shoutout to Coach Klopp and the Reds. Excited to hear you boys are heading out to the West Coast! If you need a walk-on, I got your back. #YNWA," the four-time NBA MVP posted on Facebook along with a picture of his name on the back of a No. 6 Liverpool shirt.

That prompted a response from the current holder of that shirt, Dejan Lovren, who said on Instagram, "If LeBron wants the number, I don't mind, he is the king."

In all seriousness, though...who'd be interested in seeing LeBron James turn out for Liverpool in a pre-season friendly? What an event that would be.
