While some may view a celebrity buying a house in the middle of nowhere as a way for them to maintain privacy, one real-estate agent noted that a secluded property was a red flag.

A few years back, Michael Vick bought a house in rural Virginia. Though Suffolk is relatively close to the quarterback's hometown of Newport News, it's not a place that figures to be where an NFL star would spend his free time. And as it turns out, the property wound up leading to Vick's downfall.
