Twitter Destroys Barcelona's #WeAreAllLeoMessi Support Campaign After Tax Case

A club can be forgiven for standing by an under-fire star, but this was never going to end well for Barcelona.

The club decided to launch an online campaign in support of Lionel Messi using the hashtag #WeAreAllLeoMessi just days after he was sentenced in a tax-fraud case.

Unsurprisingly, Twitter had an absolute field day with the ill-advised initiative, referencing infamous tax frauds and Messi's recent misfortunes.
