On Wednesday, the UFC announced interim light heavyweight champion Jon Jones had been booted from Saturday's UFC 200 card because of a potential anti-doping violation.
Nobody took the news harder than his would-be opponent, Daniel Cormier.
The 37-year-old light heavyweight champion pleaded with UFC President Dana White and appeared to break down.
He asked White whether there was anything he could do after stomping his foot in anger. "I'll sign a release, and we can just fight," Cormier added.
"Can't do it," White responded.
Cormier will now square off against Anderson Silva, but the world was anxious to see two of the biggest rivals in the sport go at it.
