Hockey Hall of Famer Ray Bourque was sentenced to one year of probation Wednesday stemming from his OUI arrest last month, according to the Associated Press (via NBC Sports).

Bourque will also have his license suspended for 45 days as part of the punishment, in addition to a "mandatory 180-day suspension for refusing to take a breathalyzer test on scene," per Allan Muir of SI.com. If Bourque completes the terms of his probation following an "admission to sufficient facts," the case will reportedly be closed without a guilty plea.

The 2000-01 Stanley Cup champion was arrested on a drunken driving charge in late June after he rear-ended a minivan, and his blood-alcohol content was later recorded at 0.249, per the AP. The legal limit in Massachusetts is 0.08.
