Nick Young Escapes Injury After Firework Goes Off in His Hand

Nick Young seems to be handling the single life OK.

The Los Angeles Lakers forward/guard hosted an Independence Day celebration at his Southern California home on Monday. It was apparently quite the affair, complete with plenty of guests (sans ex-fiancee Iggy Azalea) and, of course, fireworks. 

Unfortunately, it doesn't appear Young saw Jason Pierre-Paul's PSA on fireworks safety. TMZ Sports reported a lit artillery shell exploded in the host's hand, but he escaped without injury.
