Or at least that's the theory Russell Wilson and Ciara seem to be testing.

The Seattle Seahawks quarterback not only accompanied his songstress fiancee to New Orleans for the Essence Music Festival, but he also provided a little vocal accompaniment during an impromptu rendition of "Beauty" by Dru Hill.

Also taking part in the mid-street music video? Former teammate Robert Turbin, who proved to be only marginally better than Wilson.

In fact, perhaps Ciara's caption said it best: "Stick to football, fellas."
