Footage Emerges of Cristiano Ronaldo Encouraging Joao Moutinho to Take a Penalty

Say what you will about Cristiano Ronaldo—the man knows how to win.

Ronaldo's Portugal are through to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 but not before a dramatic penalty-shootout victory over Poland in the last eight.

And now footage has surfaced of the Real Madrid star willing his side through the spot-kicks by urging his team-mate Joao Moutinho to take a penalty.

And, sure enough, Moutinho slotted his penalty and Portugal advanced 5-3 to set up a meeting with Wales on Wednesday night.
