The Microphone Cristiano Ronaldo Threw in a Lake Has Been Recovered
Cristiano Ronaldo may have proverbially "dropped the mic" during his two-goal performance against Hungary in the Euro 2016 group stages, but shortly before the match, the Portuguese captain literally threw one into a lake.
Ronaldo, who has a poor relationship with Portuguese TV channel CMTV, tossed the microphone into a lake after grabbing it from a reporter's hand.

However, CMTV have now confirmed that they have recovered their audio device from the body of water after sending a team of divers to retrieve it.
The TV network confirmed (via Goal.com) that the soggy mic will be put up for auction, with proceeds going to help disabled children in Funchal, a city in Madeira where the Real Madrid superstar was born.
