Di Marzio translator David Amoyal hailed the signing of the apparent arrival of Mkhitaryan, who is set to complete his big-money move just a day after Zlatan Ibrahimovic signed:
BBC Sport reported Ibrahimovic, 34, had decided upon Old Trafford as his next destination after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, while Eric Bailly joined from Villarreal in a £30 million deal last month.
Mkhitaryan previously rejected a new contract at Signal Iduna Park and has been linked with leaving Dortmund after entering the final year of his deal with the German giants.
