Exuberance replaced by.....

Exuberance replaced by Excitement with a hint of trepidation.

Now way to shake this except head to E.L. Friday night with the Brew Crew in E.L., head to pay homage to Sparty then off to ElEz, LouHa’s, Riv, etc…. 

It is out of character for us to act like this… Nervous before a game…  I have looked forward to this tilt since last fall when we kicked their ass in  AnnArbor.. but this week.. With how the Spartans have played, some trepidation has crept in.  Don’t get me wrong, I believe strongly in Dantonio and his direction, its just the close calls the team hasn’t been able to pull off,  Gives me more pause, (naw.. more like gas) than 2 months ago…..

I have STRONG dislike, bordering on hate for the snobby, overrated, cocky, asshole wolverines, and their bloated pompous all too self important lowlife fan base.  Never had a totally enjoyable time in A-squared… See the trouble from last year…

Sure, same student athletes as 2 months ago… but, they have not played as expected or as they did last year…. I am clear what I want to happen, hope will happen, but the SpartyMSU crystal Ball is fogger than it had been…

The defense, was supposed to be the linchpin of the team,  The Big Ten’s preseason defensive POY, Greg Jones  is truly leading that side of the ball.. Jones has more than carried his weight… now the secondary and D Line has to step it up… …Have to play better D this week… And from here on out..

Brief thoughts on Keys top the Game…

  • Pressure the Young & hurt QB Tate.. With his bruised wing,  if we get to him a few times, they will switch to Denard the back up..
  • Spartan D Line Stuff the Run… Wolverines run twice as many rush plays as the Spartans, if we can stop them at the line.. it’ll be a good day…
  • Secondary feel the ball… play with Focus.. The Michigan’s Tater Tot QB likes to throw long.. Stay with your man..
  • Spartan O Line: Bust open the Gaps for the Running back Corps.. Looks like Winston has joined the boys in the back field.. That’s a good thing..
  • Michigan D is weaker than ND’s, and Wisconsin… Exploit it..
  • Michigan Cheerleaders are ugly.. Exploit that…
  • Need to play solid for all 4 quarters… Win at all cost
