Pepsi Releases New 'Uncle Drew' Spot in Honor of Kyrie Irving's NBA Title

Kyrie Irving's contributions were essential to the Cleveland Cavaliers in their pursuit of their first NBA title. The point guard scored 27.1 points per game against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA Finals, including 41 on 17-of-24 shooting in Game 5.

So it's only right that Irving's alter ego, Uncle Drew, offer his congratulations. 

And he did, albeit indirectly, in a new Pepsi spot, "Champions Are Born out of the Fire."

Uncle Drew tells all the "youngbloods" out there, "Buckets aren't given away. Buckets are earned."

Irving definitely earned himself a lot of buckets en route to that coveted first ring.
