Joseph ZuckerJun 26, 2016

Simone Biles captured her fourth straight all-around championship in the 2016 P&G Championships Sunday inside Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis.

According to Chros McDougall of TeamUSA.org, Biles is the first female gymnast to win four consecutive titles since Joan Moore Gnat (1971-74).

With a final score of 125.000, the 19-year-old edged out Aly Raisman by 3.900 points (121.100). Below are the results from the top-10 finishers Sunday night:

Biles entered the day with a slim lead over Raisman and Lauren Hernandez following Friday's preliminaries.

Biles was sitting on 62.900 points, with Raisman and Hernandez both tied for second with 60.450 points. The advantage was slender enough that somebody could've potentially overtaken Biles. Instead, she left little room for doubt as to who is the United States' best female gymnast.

Some of Biles' most impressive work came in the floor exercise. NBC Olympics shared a replay of her entire routine:

The teenager earned style points when she acknowledged former Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson East in the middle of her performance:

Biles saved her best for the vault, where the judges gave her a 9.9 for her execution. NBC Olympics provided a look at her near-perfect Amanar vault:

Biles' toughest competition admitted going up against her is almost becoming a futile pursuit at this point.

"Even when the coaches talk to us, they're like, 'Don't even count Simone. She’s just in her own league,'" said Raisman, per USA Today's Nancy Armour.

Raisman can at least take solace in the fact she qualified for the 2016 Olympic trials. The top-five finishers are automatically through to the qualifiers, so along with Raisman and Biles, Hernandez, Gabby Douglas and Madison Kocian will be heading to San Jose, California.

The U.S. gymnastics committee also determined the remaining women who will be making the trip, and USA Gymnastics announced Sunday night Christina Desiderio, Brenna Dowell, Rachel Gowey, Ashton Locklear, Maggie Nichols, Emily Schild and MyKayla Skinner will be competing as well.

Based on their Olympic pedigrees, Raisman and Douglas will be strong contenders to be on the U.S. team in Rio de Janeiro. They were both in the group that won all-around gold in London in 2012, and they remain two of the best gymnasts in the country.

Four spots in total will be on the line with Biles assured of a place on the team. The preliminaries will begin in San Jose on July 8, and the event wraps up on July 10.
