Tarvaris Jackson Arrested: Latest Details, Mugshot, Reaction

Former Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was arrested early Friday morning in Osceola County, Florida, and was charged for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, Chris Hush of WESH 2 News reported.

Hush added that Jackson allegedly pulled a gun on his wife:

Jackson is currently out on bond.

Hush provided details from the arrest report with multiple posts on his Twitter account. According to the report, Jackson was visiting his family in Kissimmee, Florida, with his wife and two children. Early Friday morning while the children were asleep, an intoxicated Jackson allegedly loaded a gun, pointed it at his wife and told her he would kill her. 

According to the report, Jackson's wife allegedly said, "You better be accurate [because] you ain't accurate on the field." 

The report also noted a witness in the house where the family was staying held Jackson to prevent him from shooting his wife.

Jackson, a nine-year veteran backup, is a free agent after four years with the Seahawks. As a member of the Minnesota Vikings, he posted an 8-4 record in 12 starts in 2007, which was his best season in the league. 

The 33-year-old has recorded 7,263 career passing yards with 39 touchdowns and 35 interceptions.
