Akron Mayor Renames Street 'King James Way' for LeBron James After Title

“Every king has a kingdom and every kingdom must have roads.”
Those were the words of Akron, Ohio, Mayor Dan Horrigan on Thursday as he announced that a downtown street was being renamed in honor of Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James, per Stephanie Warsmith and Rick Armon of the Akron Beacon Journal.
Here’s another shot of the new sign, which used to indicate South Main Street between Market and Exchange Streets:
