No matter how old a child gets, a mother's maternal instinct will always show.

Even when the kid is no longer a kid. Even when the kid gets a job. Even when that job is an NFL gig.

On Thursday, Annie Apple—the mother of New York Giants first-round pick Eli Apple—posted a heartwarming Throwback Thursday moment she shared with her son earlier this year. While Eli is certainly old enough to drive himself to work these days, Annie wanted to be there to see him off to his new job, something he had worked his entire life for.
